Nurse vs Nurse
There will always be one nurse that is so different from the other. I have been here for a week as of tomorrow and so far in exception to last night, I have had great nurses. Especially at night.
The day nurses I'm usually asleep but even they are great too.
Well last night. I had some bad contractions like 3-5 minutes apart. Like it totally hurt my lower back. I had a hard time sleeping. I felt pretty restless and was even worried I was going to deliver. So around 3ish in the morning..I complained about being in pain and I think the docs may have to check me. She automatically answered for them and said "they're not going to check you." ALL the other nurses day or night when I've complained about pain have called in a doc to check me to see if there has been any cervical change...SOOO I don't even think she mentioned anything to them although she said she would. I told her about it at 3, a doc didn't see me until close to 6 in the morning. Seriously!
I'm kind of glad that I didn't go into labor during her shift. (Sigh of relief) Well, I know that some nurses may not like some patients because dude, I barely paged her and kept asking for anything until I felt pain. Part of her job description right?!? Oh well. I hope I get a nice nurse when I actually deliver.

Ready to go
I am so ready to go home. I've been here since Thursday and nothing has changed. I started to get heart burn last night and thought that today was the day. Nope I was wrong. I'm still at 6 cm, started to have contractions but they have subsided.
I'm just waiting for the docs to do their rounds and hopefully they say go home on bed rest. It does suck to be here and nothing progresses. A part of me just wants to have this kid already. I know holding off as long as possible will be the best thing, but I dont know when he decidess to come or not. Its crazy cuz I was here last week at 4 cm and back again at 6. Watch me be back here next week then be at 8. Its just frustrating.

In the hospital
Here I am in the hospital again. I've been here since Thursday evening. I went to my regular high risk appt, my fetal monitoring to my ultrasound and with those appointment found out I was 5 cm dialted, 80% efaced, -2. Sooo now I'm at 6 cm dialated but everything is still the same.
I hate it cuz now I'm on oxygen cause I had a fluid overload with IV.
Well I'm pretty much here until I deliver. Things may change but its pretty much day by day

32 Weeks and 1 day
So I am very happy I did not give birth on my birthday. I was in the hospital last week to stop preterm labor. I was in the hospital for 4 days. Yup pretty much all week. Had to get the steriods for baby's lungs, magnesium sulfate to stop the contractions, fetal monitoring for all day and all night. I dilated to 4 cm 70% efaced and -3. So I'm still at 4 cm, water is still in tact and I was stable enough to go home.
Yesterday was mine and AJ's 5th bday. I was so nervous that I was going to completely lose my bday if I popped on my bday. (of course that would totally be the odds) But I didn't woohoo. So we didn't do much, just had a gathering at Lisa's house and the kids played a little bit at Strikes in Elk Grove. I wanted to have a bday party for him, but knew I wouldn't have the energy for it.
Anyways, I'm hoping I make it close enough to my due date which is Nov 29th. Part of me just wants to have this kid already. I just don't like feeling uncomfortable anymore. Getting up in the mid of the night to use the restroom, just getting up from the couch and bed. I'm just tired. But as long as I make it 34 weeks then we are in the clear.
All I know is after this baby is born, I won't be getting any kind of sleep. It's okay I know it will be worth it.

Pregnancy Pains
I am sooo done being pregnant. Seriously..this is it for me. I hate it that I've been on bed rest now for two frikkin weeks..Yup, dr put me on bed rest cause of my past preterm labor history. Ugh!
Well, I can't wait to go back to work and say, aight I need to get back to work. I don't mind being home since AJ just started school and all, but man. I miss work. As crazy as that sounds.
I just don't like this uncomfortable feeling anymore. The unable to sleep at night because I swear it takes forever to find a position to sleep. The wanting to eat certain things, that for some reason at this point still make me nauseas (ok I know that's not spelled right). And I'm tired of my bella band, and wearing maternity clothes. I just would like to get back in my regular clothes and be thinner again. UGh!
Well, I have like three more months go to. So I'm hoping I make it very close to term so I won't have any issues w/ work and the baby. And yes, I am aiming to go natural again. NO epideral for me. I'm way to scared to not feel my legs or bottom half.

Many Changes
Man it's been forever in a day!! Well, since I've been on this blog. I've been so busy w/ work and kids..plus we have no internet after we moved. Yea, I know I totally miss the internet, but its all good. We'll get it later.
Anyways, so I know I haven't mentioned it on the blog last time. But we are now expecting our 3rd child. Yup..Baby number three is on its way. I'm due sometime in November. They said it was around the 29th, but knowing my kids they won't come on time. They seem to like to come early.
That's one change. Another one, if I haven't mentioned it was that we moved out of Lisa's house and got our own. Renting for now, but it's all good. It's a place of our own. So we haven't completely unpacked but, we've moved everything out of storage and most of everything out of Lisa's house.
Other changes..AJ's going to be going to school this fall. Woohoo!! I can't believe how big he's gotten. Kindergarten already. I can't wait to go on his first day of school.
Changes at work. We have a new ASM. He's cool. Younger guy, he's pretty funny though. Marina's getting married this month. Lyla had her baby and was on leave. And...hmm...then branch totally looks different. New paint. A wall. Hours have changed on Saturdays. All kinds of stuff. I'm just very grateful to be working.

The weekend begins..
So I am officially watching Twilight. Haha I know the movie wasn't the best but ohhhh Edward Cullen. Hahaha. I went to Walmart this morning to get some necessities and ended up buying Twilight. Woohoo.
Anyways, well..we're going to be heading out to the city later for our evening outing for our anniversary. I can't wait. I'm so happy to be off, it's been a long week.

Home sweet Home
So we went driving around last week on Thursday during AJ's therapy session just to look to see if there was any house available. There was one house we found off of Calvine Rd which is on land. We called the number and the guy met us in like 20 mins. We were only inquiring to see about how much he needed down and he ended up letting us look at the property.
It's not the best..but it's a fixer-upper. I totally want to move into it. Needs lots of cleaning and maintaining. But its okay. It's on farm land. We can have the dogs and Tuan talked to him about our situation. I mean, it's a deal. But just gotta get the deposit together. Maybe I'm just dreaming and hoping..cause I've been thinking about it since we've seen it. We'll see though.
Cross my fingers...

Lunch w/ Winnie Anne
So last week on Friday I got to see Winnie-Anne! I swear we havent' seen in other since last year as far as going to hang out. She was off so we had lunch at Satori's (yum). What's so funny is we saw her and Joey at church a few weeks back and we were suppose to have a play date w/ the kids on a Sat. I thought I had her number on my phone right cause that Saturday after work which was the following Sunday from when we saw them I called and left her a message to call me back and see if she wanted to meet at Mc D's.
On the vmail, it didn't have a greeting, just the normal automated greeting. So I figured she got busy or forgot. So last week on Thursday I found out I had her # in my phone wrong. Talk about modded!! I bet the person was all like "um, don't know who you're calling" ahahaha.
Oh well, we finally got to get our numbers right.
So, we had a good lunch. I wish I was off though cause I had to go back to work. Maybe, I'll find someone to switch w/ me on a Fri when AJ's off track that way the kids can hang out or something. Anne's daughter is so funny...she texted me earlier telling me she told her we had lunch just us "mommys" and Carm said she was sad cause she wanted to see me too.

March begins..
So it's like 3:53 AM Wednesday morning, and I am soo awake right now. I really don't know why. I'm probably going to regret this later, but oh well.
I haven't been online other then to do banking so I figured might was well blog. :)
Well, it's officially March. I swear, I went from blogging every now and then almost every day to once a month. Anyways, our anniversary is this month and I've been planning it since Jan to see where we're going to eat etc etc. I already have where we're going to stay so I'm excited about that. We'll be staying at the Hyatt by Pier 39. It's the one off Embarcadero (the one where the Equinox) use to be. So I can't wait to see it.
I haven't figured out where to eat yet. Anthony doesn't want to be on a schedule so I figured I might just look around and see where we can eat as far as get ideas, then I'll decide to make reservations. I know we'll be gone the morning of Saturday. I had to plan it where we have someone to watch the kids cause Glo has school Fri and Sats. So we'll be staying in the city on Sat and coming back the evening of Sunday. I'm really excited cause I'll also be off on the Monday. Woohoo. Long weekend for me. Something I haven't really had in a while.

Well, it's Lent and I have decided to give up two things. Which are really going to be hard for me but so far so good.
1. NO rice
2. I can't purchase any book until after Lent.
OMG. This is going to be hard for me. Well, the NO rice part I can live with. I think it's the purchasing of the books that's going to be harder for me. I swear I buy at least one book when I get paid. I know I've been reading like crazy book to book back to back. And I hate borrowing books. I want to be able to keep my books and have them on my book shelf. But yea, so I'm hoping nothing good comes out, and if they do gotta wait till after Lent.

Hello February
I have not been on blogger in like forever...well I guess I've been that busy with work and the two kids that its been hectic.
Updates:
The kids..
Leanna, "Ling-Ling" is now 6 months old. Shes attempting to crawl, but does so with her head. She's a whoppin 17 Lbs, big chunky baby. She got RSV though this past Monday and is on breathing treatments, albuterol, and on top of that and ear infection. Mun, me and my preemies.
But she's getting better. She gets a little annoyed in the evening so she likes to keep me up for a lil bit. But I can't even believe how big she's gotten in the past few months. She's adorable. I love all the pink on her. Her brother loves her and is very sweet and protective with her.
AJ is officially potty trained! Woohoo. He has had a few accidents, but I guess it happens. But it's been a whole 9 days since he hasn't really worn pull-ups. He goes on his own to the toilet and its so funny cause he'll use my step stool to sit down and he looks like he's struggling but he figured it out. He still has school twice a week w/ Ms Iris and sees Ms Audra for OT only on Thursdays. But hes starting to get to a point where he'll talk back and start ignoring me when he's being called. Just gotta set him straight.

We're doing okay. It's Valentine's day and don't know what we're going to do today and/or later. Lings been sick so we'll see if we'll go out. I'm planning our anniversary for next month and haven't figured out where we were going to eat. I have the place where we were going to stay but still haven't had a chance to plan that weekend. We shall see.

The kids..
Leanna, "Ling-Ling" is now 6 months old. Shes attempting to crawl, but does so with her head. She's a whoppin 17 Lbs, big chunky baby. She got RSV though this past Monday and is on breathing treatments, albuterol, and on top of that and ear infection. Mun, me and my preemies.

Happy New Year..
So it's finally 2009!! It's about time!
Well, I was sooo over w/2008 like long ass time ago. It was a great and difficult year for me..and my fam. But it's a part of life that we go through. I'm not going to do any resolutions this year, but I have goals and the biggest one is to SAVE! Yup. Oh and to get things going again to be on our own.
I haven't been on blogger forever, and I know I can go on and on about everything. But I'd rather not (at least not now) So here's a breakdown of the holidays:
Christmas:
Went to DC for Xmas Eve..did the usual. Had white elephant at tita Teresa and tito Sam's house. I got a little mechanism that counts how many steps and/calories are burned. Cool gift. Then we actually saw my mom on xmas eve. Not something I was excited about, but I did it for the kids. I know it's horrible, I had a grudge, but it's too soon for me that's all.
Xmas day..went to Stockton and had some good ass prime rib and turkey! I gotta upload pics for Oliver and Joce's first turkey! Thanks guys for having us over. It was a lot of fun to be around great friends during the holidays. Then..
Xmas evening..came home kids opened gifts and had to sleep early cause I had work the next day..ugh. But it was fun.
New Years Eve:
Stayed at Lisa's house and just ate, slept, and tried to enjoy the evening. Rachel and Randy along w/ the kids were here to visit from Turkee so that was awesome. Tita Saio actually came over and had dinner at Lisa's house. It's been a while since they came to any family function so it was a big deal. And then did the count down.
New Years Day:
We went to the snow and had the kids play. Gemma had her baby..Kendall Marie (HAPPY NEW YEARS!!! baby) She's so big from the pics I saw. Can't wait to meet her.
The snow was fun, we're planning on going up again in a few weeks. The only thing bad that happened was Leanna lost her boots she got from Joce. Bummer. Oh well, she got to sport em.
That was that...Now it's a new year. There's a lot of changes coming. I know for me, I'm really determined to get things on the road. A new home for us hopefully before the 2010 comes around, but we'll see how much is put aside. And just to be able to enjoy the year.
