Dealing with stress

Shit happens! And it really does. Whether it's having to do with money, paying bills, losing a job, death in the family, someone ill around you, neighbor quarrels, misunderstandings, an injury occurs, etc. (I can go on and on but I hoping you get my point)

But should we dwell in it. Should we just stress out some more and not do anything about it? Should we drink our stress away? Run away from it? Personally I don't think so. I mean, everyone goes through a bump in the road. Whether it's a big bump, small bump, or just a tumble...it's part of life.

Everyone deals with stress differently. I personally think we have to face our issues whether we like it or not. Because if we don't then it just gets worse and worse. Whether the issue has to do with finances, a loss, a frustration in how things aren't going the way you would like it to..we have to deal with it.

I always believed in taking the next step. The next step that will improve things. Don't sit there and just wait. Find a resolution. Ask for help. Things may not be so perfect right now. But they're never going to be. And that's reality. It may for a few minutes, seconds, but that's a moment in time we cherish. I'm slowly learning that bitching and complaining won't get me anywhere. Others who don't realize it will sometime in their life. Things will work out. Have faith, and they'll almost be better then we expect it.

Staying positive is always good. Crying about things is nothing bad. It's life.

He got a catfish!

So Tuan went fishing hella late last night like around 9:30 by the river. I was hoping he'd catch more then just one, but he caught one cat fish. Actually Jeremy caught it and just gave it to him, but the effort of fishing for it counts, I guess. That thing was a pretty good size.

It looked pregnant, but I guess it just ate some rocks. I didn't look to see when they cut it up, cause I would've just yacked! Well, I told him I want to go crabbing before the summer and/or year is over. I remember going crabbing a while back with Theresa and the fam and it was hella fun! If not, I can just get a fishing license and actually go with Tuan and hopefully catch some fish...

Baby Shower @ Joce & Oliver's

Here are some pics from our Baby Shower at Joce's House:

It's been a year!

Well, as of this past Wednesday June 18th, Elk Grove Autocare, Inc has been opened for a year! I would like to thank all of our customers who have come in and all the people who have helped us to stay successful. I'm glad we have met several different people from Elk Grove, Galt, Lodi, Sacramento who have come in our shop and for a good amount have stayed our "regulars".

It's been a tough year. But we made it...I hope and pray we have many more years to come!

Thanks Amy!!!!

Well, yesterday Amy (who is one of our customers) called me and asked if I'd be in. She actually called me about a month ago to ask if I wanted some hand me downs for the baby. I said sure. So I was expecting just a bag, or maybe a small box. You know, not hella clothes.

Anyways, she called me yesterday and asked if I was going to be in. I was actually only planning to be in the office until about noon cause I've been so out of it. Plus I have this cramp on my leg that won't seem to go away. (The ones you only get when you're pregnant) Ugh! And I stuck around pretty much all day. She came by and brought like five 13 gallon trash bags full of clothes! OMG! I was soo excited and just in shock all at the same time. She had clothes from like NB to 12-18 months. SO I literally don't have to go shopping for this baby!

There were hella clothes. And really cute ones too. She really took care of these clothes. I mean, no stains (well duh, of course why would you give away a shirt with a stain) but you know what I mean...Like there were whites in there that looked like they were brand new. In fact, there were some that still had the tag on them. They also varied from different brands. Clothes from Old Navy, Gap, Gymboree, Children's Place, Guess, Osh Kosh, Carters etc.

What was actually really exciting for me was that I got to pick out the clothes. I had so much fun! I went through them twice too. I went through the ones I liked here at the shop. Took the ones I liked home and went through them again. So now I only have two bags to give back to her. And she even gave me boxes if they would match my "nursery". We don't really have a nursery planned out for her, but I do still plan on buying the bassinet which allows me to put the baskets underneath to hold papers, wipes, etc. Totally got hooked up! Thanks sooooo much Amy!

I'm just really thankful for actually having the chance to get hand me downs. I don't want to ask Lisa, cause if she decides to give me some than that's cool. If not, than that's cool too. I'm just glad I was able to get some from someone else. What's crazy is that Amy's just our customer.

Oh, and Amy's having her 4th (yes I said 4th)..baby this Wednesday. She's also having a girl, but I guess she has so many girls clothes that she needed to get rid of a lot of the other ones she had.
Once again, Thanks AMY!!!!

Life Learned Lessons-something I read this morning

I've learned that we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.
I've learned that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I've learned that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. The same goes for true love.
I've learned that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I've learned that it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them.
I've learned that you can keep going long after you can't.
I've learned that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
I've learned that either you control your attitude or it controls you.
I've learned that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place.
I've learned that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences.
I've learned that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I've learned that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time.
I've learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.
I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
I've learned that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
I've learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how many years you have lived.
I've learned that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I've learned that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn't stop for your grief.
I've learned that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.
I've learned that just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other And just because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do love each other.
I've learned that you shouldn't be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.
I've learned that two people can look at the same thing and see something totally different.
I've learned that your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.
I've learned that even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you you will find the strength to help.
I've learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I've learned that the people you care about most in life are sometimes taken from you too soon

30 Weeks and 3 Days

Man, I've come a long way!!! I had my appointment today and so far so good, just have to get a refill on some prescriptions for my asthma. What sucked today though is I had two nose bleeds. Ugh! I think this weather is getting to me. But so far the pregnancy is going okay. Even though I'm ready to have this baby...well not really but you know. But she's still a girl! So we really need to figure out what to name her. So it's down to three names:
Lauren Paige
Leann Rae
Brianna Mae

I don't know which we'll chose. It's so funny we're so stuck on what to name her, and I want to give her her name already but just haven't come to an agreement yet. Well, I have ten more weeks to finally decide on a name. See, I'm really counting down!

Well, I'm sooo awake right now when I shouldn't be considering I'm covering for Tuan tomorrow cause he's going riding this weekend. Well, I'm uploading songs to his I-pod so he has something to listen to while on his bike. All his old songs got deleted, so I have to create a whole new play list. Ugh. It's all good though. I wouldn't want him to be bored. Well, hopefully I'll be done uploading things in like 20 minutes cause I'm ready to knock out on the bed!

Pregnancy-3rd Trimester

So I haven't been pregnant this long, and I'm starting to get the feeling like I liked being pregnant for only 6 months, except without all the stress and worry. (I wish!)

I have been sooo hot lately..and I mean, it feels like my body temperature is like 3 times hotter than the weather outside. Ugh, and this wind is soo not helping. It's not only getting me annoyed but creating all kinds of fires here in sac county!

Well, I've been having Braxton Hicks contractions lately. A little scary, and painful at the same time. But they're so far apart that I can't really do much but let them go by. I had my appointment today for another ultrasound and everything looks good so far. She's 3 Lbs and my due date has changed from August 29th to August 28th. I'm aiming to be pregnant that long, but oh mun...I feel like I'm ready.

I soooo need to upload pics I know. Will do soon. Till next time.

I found my keys!!!!

I was sooo stressin yesterday and the day before, cause I couldn't find my keys. It had our mail key, shop key, house key, and all my little tags like Borders, Staples etc. Oh mun! I knew it was in my parents car but it was hard to tell cause they're all the way in Vacaville and we're here. Well, we went to pick up AJ last night and yup..there it was in his car seat.

I'm just glad I was able to find it, cause it would've been such a hassle to have to rekey the whole house, shop, and get a new mail key. For a second there I thought I was losing my mind with being pregnant and all. Now all I gotta look for is the 415 cell phone. Ugh!

Best Baby Shower ever!

THANKS SOOOO MUCH TO JOCELYN & OLIVER...I got my very first baby shower! Well, as for those who don't know I didn't get to have one with AJ cause he just decided to come out early!

The shower was this weekend, and there was just enough people to play games, and great food. I had so much fun! I was so excited Saturday morning that I woke up like at 5:45 AM. OMG..hella excited! I was excited to actually have people play games and eat and get gifts. My cake turned out really nice. I liked it. I mean it was different, the toping was thick cause it was fondante ( I think I spelled that right) and the cake isn't to sweet. Well, I need to upload my pics soon. I have no internet at home right now cause COMCAST sucks! I guess we're all of a sudden in the red zone and we're not getting any service. UGh.
Anyways, Thanks again Joce and Oliver! You guys are the best!
